Why is it that im in love only when the sky is burning? a spark, a lift, then... boom. like emotions, sown across the darkness of the sky. a burning flower. they call you a star? of course they do.

you, radiate my face my pupils swing open, two doors for your light, finding its place in my coldest corners my soul escapes, is it too bright?

but I feel weird. I feel lost I feel in haze, then I fell in amaze Like a reality where you live forever WE...live forever

But youre ephemeral, you disperse they cheer, and they move on burnt to void before kissing the ground but for that fraction of a second, we dream, and we believe even though we know they are lies they are beautiful lies aren’t they?

Do you see me like I see you? I am mortal, a sheep in a flock Youre a concept, hope and joy you arrive announced and you leave, in glamour the rule is no contact because if we meet I burn, yet, you die yet we plan, yet I dream of a fallacy (that our hearts keep?)

we were a finale, love. we were never a season. the light came first. it always does. the bang found my ribs after youd already gone dark. being seen is a flash. being known? is a shift.

the sky had lost its color, but the warmth is there and somewhere far, a whistle climbed. I looked up. of course I looked up. again. again.
